Teach your dog the skills for a happy, stressfree, off leash life

Would you like to enjoy your dog again and strengthen the bond between you? Would you love to go for walks without your dog pulling or reacting? Do you want to give your dog the freedom to run around and explore the world without worrying whether they’ll come back? Would you like more calmness at home and when receiving visitors? Or do you simply want to give your puppy the best possible start?
My method is entirely focused on real, everyday situations. No tricks on a training field, but results that work in real life. During a consultation, we look at the underlying cause of the problem and immediately start working on changing the behaviour. All training and behaviour modification is done with love, respect, and trust toward the dog. What we won’t do, however, is avoid challenging situations. Instead, we teach the dog a new way to handle them. This helps the dog build confidence and develop new habits, allowing them to make the right choices independently later on.

Behavior modification
Dogs can show unwanted behavior for a lot of different reasons. Sometimes it’s fear, sometimes excitement or a combination of both and a lot of times it’s not entirely clear. It doesn’t matter, the training remains the same. The perception and emotional reaction to the trigger has to be changed. We do this by creating a new habit for the dog. Behavior modification takes time and repetition, but with the right approach, you will see great improvement in a few weeks. Some have even amazed by what we could achieve in just one lesson. You can really change your dogs life by teaching them the skills they need in our human world. My own dog used to be reactive and agressive to other dogs. I used to have her muzzled and on a leash on all walks. Now I take her everywhere, she gets to run around off leash, she no longer kills rabbits and she is no longer a dangerous dog. Your dog can change, you just need to know how.

A loving relationship
With the right skills you can let your dog roam around freely and safely. You call him back to you with one command when needed and walk together past distractions with ease. This clear communication and biological fulfillment will deepen the bond between you and your dog. You can start to enjoy a trained, happy dog that you can take with you anywhere without problems.

About me
Problem behavior in dogs often arises from an emotional response to a stimulus. This can be caused, for example, by fear or insecurity, frustration, or, on the contrary, excessive enthusiasm.
During a 2-hour in-home consultation, I teach you how to guide your dog in developing a new response. This changes the behavior from the inside out. It improves the relationship with your dog, reduces stress for both the dog and the owner, and leads to lasting results. You can then start working with your dog step by step toward your goals. People are often amazed at how quickly results become visible. Within just a few weeks, you’ll have a completely different dog!
The training I provide is always tailor-made and therefore varies from dog to dog. However, I always work from a place of love, respect, and mutual understanding. I look at behavior from the dog’s perspective. The behavior itself is often just the tip of the iceberg, which is why we always look beyond the behavior alone. Are the dog’s daily needs being met? What are the underlying emotions? What is the relationship like between the dog and their humans? From there, we get to work. We almost always go for a walk outside, as this often reveals the dog’s habits very clearly. I show you what your dog needs and how you can provide it. For example, an insecure dog may need more guidance and leadership they can trust, while a high-energy “bouncing ball” may need more calm and structured movement.
We teach the dog all new behavior in a language they understand: their own. Dogs don’t use sentences or grammar. The fewer words we use, the better. Dogs cannot lie. They are honest, clear, and sincere. By immersing yourself in your dog’s world of experience, you will truly begin to understand them and be able to help them in the best possible way.
